Tuesday night was a lost opportunity for the Texas Longhorns. The top team in the Big 12, the Kansas State Wildcats, came into the Frank Erwin Center without its star Cartier Diarra and Texas basketball could have made a massive leap in the conference standings.
Instead Texas basketball sits with a record of 14-11 (6-6 Big 12) and must feel frustrated. Texas basketball shot 15-27 in the first half and had a four-point lead at the break. Things were looking good. The offense was humming and to put up 39 on Kansas State in 20 minutes is not an easy thing to do.
