Under head Texas basketball coach Shaka Smart, this program is looking to finally breakthrough in the Big 12 in the 2019-20 season. Texas basketball didn’t do much this offseason to prove that it will hang with the Big 12’s best, but Smart did make a couple savvy moves to add to his coaching staff in a positive way.
The most recent addition to the coaching staff for the Texas Longhorns basketball program is the former assistant of the Kansas Jayhawks under head coach Bill Self, Andrea Hudy. According to a report from the Kansas City Star, Hudy is joining the Longhorns after 15 years with the Kansas basketball program as the strength and conditioning coach.
