The road ahead for the Texas basketball program on the recruiting trail is a long one since the 2020 and 2021 classes don’t have a single commitment in line yet. Head Texas basketball coach Shaka Smart needs to put more attention into offering some of the nation’s top 2020 and 2021 high school prospects before it’s too late.
Smart has done well to build up the 2019 Texas basketball recruiting class, but there’s not enough offers handed out for the next two cycles yet. One prospect worth looking into for Smart and the Texas Longhorns basketball program is the elite five-star 2021 small forward Patrick Baldwin Jr.
