New head coach Chris Beard’s first season leading the Texas Longhorns basketball program features a home game against the Tennessee Volunteers and road games against the Gonzaga Bulldogs and Seton Hall Pirates, the school announced on Tuesday.
Texas will host Texas Lutheran for a free exhibition game on Nov. 1 and then open the regular season at the Erwin Center against Houston Baptist on Nov. 9 before traveling to face Gonzaga in Spokane that Saturday.
To close out the opening month, Texas will play at Gregory Gym for the first time since 1977 when they face Sam Houston State on Nov.
