Texas basketball recruiting can get one huge pickup in the coming weeks that would be bigger than any other at this point. Last week, the Longhorns landed four-star shooting guard, and Missouri City, TX, native Donovan Williams. It was the first 2019 commitment for Texas basketball recruiting and head coach Shaka Smart.
To keep on a good track on the recruiting trail for the Horns, a second commitment needs to come through before the start of the upcoming regular season. That second commit would be great if it came from five-star big man and Westlake High School product Will Baker.
