One of the final targets of the 2019 Texas basketball recruiting class was a prospect that didn’t get much national attention until the very end of this cycle. Four-star forward Tristan Enaruna is a Mount Pleasant, UT, native and gained more than five schools on his offer sheet pretty late in the 2019 recruiting cycle.
Yet, even Enaruna escaped the clutches of head Texas basketball coach Shaka Smart just before the end of this final signing period for the 2019 recruiting cycle. National Signing Day 2019 isn’t too far away for the Texas basketball program.
There aren’t many scholarships left to use for the Texas Longhorns basketball program this late in the recruiting cycle, but one was opened up by the recent transfer of a rotational guard.
