Texas basketball recruiting is still without a single commit for the 2019 class, but there’s a long time to go before National Signing Day arrives for that cycle ending. A good portion of the 2018 basketball recruiting class for the Longhorns wasn’t committed or signed until the 2017-18 college basketball season actually came around.
However, one big lead for the Horns on the recruiting trail for the 2019 class is four-star shooting guard Donovan Williams. On June 19, the Horns offered Williams just one day before he received one from the Miami Hurricanes. Williams holds six total offers, including one from the school that looks like his favorite destination in the SMU Mustangs.
