Texas basketball recruiting would get an immediate boost for the 2019 class with a potential commitment from one of the top prospects in the nation in five-star center James Wiseman. On July 28, the Memphis, TN, native Wiseman tweeted out his final eight schools to decide from and Texas was among those listed in the video.
According to 247Sports, Wiseman is listed as the top center in the nation and the top overall prospect. Texas has numerous talented five-star centers offered at this point, but none would be more valuable than the top prospect in the nation in Wiseman.
