The biggest commitment of the 2019 Texas basketball recruiting class is here in the form of five-star Westlake High School center Will Baker. He’s the first five-star prospect this program signed since landing Mohamed Bamba during the 2017 recruiting cycle. This is massive for this entire class.
The pledge from Baker is the third in the 2019 Texas basketball recruiting class and gives this group its second big man. Baker joins four-star big man Kai Jones to form quite the dynamic duo in the front court for the future of the Texas Longhorns. Highly touted shooting guard Donovan Williams is also committed to this Texas basketball recruiting class.
