In all likelihood, new head coach Chris Beard will either have one or no more additions to the roster for the Texas basketball program out of the NCAA Transfer Portal after a big weekend. Texas added a commitment from the former standout Pitt Panthers and Minnesota Golden Gophers junior point guard Marcus Carr out of the transfer portal on July 17.
Some truly magical work by Beard and the Longhorns in the transfer portal this offseason should be about done after landing this huge commitment from Carr over the weekend.
