The Texas Longhorns picked up a very important win at home on Saturday with a 69-57 defeat of the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Texas basketball came out very slow to start the contest. The offense was erratic, and they were only able to put five points in the first four plus minutes.
The Cowboys had the Longhorns on lockdown. There was nowhere to go, and Texas was forcing up poor shots. When Texas basketball started to play some team basketball, the game completely changed. Great ball movement and lockdown defense of their own led to a 10-0 run to give Texas basketball a 15-12 lead.
