It’s another difficult Big 12 matchup for the young Texas Longhorns against Oklahoma State in their building.
On Wednesday night, the Cowboys nearly beat #6-ranked Baylor in Stillwater, but the Bears held on for a 72-69 victory.
The Cowboys are now 4-7 in the Big 12 conference, which is the same as Texas. But, Ok. State’s overall record of 15-9 is still worthy of the NCAA Tournament. By a slim margin. The Cowboys cannot afford to lose to Texas on Saturday.
But, the Longhorns need to win a road game this season to validate Shaka Smart’s rebuilding process.
