One of the bigger non-conference events for the entirety of the Big 12 in basketball is the Big 12/SEC Challenge that takes place later in the regular season. This series in which every Big 12 team will face someone from the SEC comes up in the middle of conference play, but also provides a nice change of pace at that point in the year. It’s great to see some Big 12 programs take a break from the usual nine opponents faced in the latter stages of the regular season, including Texas basketball.
The recent set of matchups for the 2018-19 SEC/Big 12 Challenge released with the Longhorns drawing the Georgia Bulldogs this time around.
