Texas basketball hauled in its highest rated prospect of the 2018 recruiting class so far, by landing four-star point guard Courtney Ramey back on April 27. Ramey is a skilled 6-foot-3 facilitator from St. Louis, that ranks as the top basketball prospect in the entire state of Missouri. He’s also the eighth best point guard overall in the nation in the 2018 cycle.
Moreover, Ramey is not the only success story that Texas head basketball coach Shaka Smart has on the recruiting trail for the 2018 class. Keeping a prospect like highly touted four-star small forward Gerald Liddell in-state is huge.
