Former Texas Longhorn LaMarcus Aldridge has been a steady top player for the San Antonio Spurs over the past two years. He has averaged 17.7 points and 8.1 rebounds per game through 132 appearances, and has played a part toward the Spurs being one of the best teams in the NBA.
Well, it looks like they will be without Aldridge for an unknown amount of time. The Spurs announced that he had an occurrence of a minor heart arrhythmia and he’ll be out for “an indefinite period.” The statement from the team also included that he won’t be back on the court until more examinations are completed.
