Texas basketball and new head coach Rodney Terry have a lot of momentum on the recruiting trail this summer. Texas landed three commitments in the last six weeks or so in the 2023 class, two from the high school ranks and one from the NCAA Transfer Portal (senior SG Ithiel Horton). The two from the high school ranks were three-star Houston (TX) PSAT-XEA Academy small forward Devon Pryor and four-star Montverde Academy combo guard Chris Johnson.
Terry and the Longhorns will look to convert that momentum on the recruiting trail in the 2023 class this summer to launch the 2024 class heading into the fall.
