News that was somewhat anticipated, but wasn’t known for sure, dropped for the Texas basketball program in the past week. A long-awaited NBA Draft decision from the former elite five-star recruit and hometown product Greg Brown dropped on May 13. The freshman power forward Brown will be taking his talents to the next level with the 2021 NBA Draft class.
There will not be the opportunity for the new Longhorns head coach (formerly of the Texas Tech Red Raiders) Chris Beard to develop Brown.
