At this point of the 2018-19 regular season for the Texas basketball program, there isn’t much left that can happen outside of Big 12 play. At most, Texas basketball will only face teams outside conference play in the postseason. Whether that be the NCAA Tournament or the NIT is still up in the air. Most national pundits still have the Texas basketball program landing in the NCAA Tournament field. But the level of inconsistency we see from this team on nearly a nightly basis creates cause for concern that Texas basketball might not have its name called on Selection Sunday.
