A roller coaster ride of a 2018-19 regular season for the Texas basketball program up to this point gives some time for reflection heading into the Christmas break. The Holidays weren’t a friendly time for Texas basketball in its most recent game, which resulted in a loss to the Providence Friars at the Frank Erwin Events Center.

Texas basketball carries a record of 7-4 into the Christmas break, which falls dramatically short of the expectations set at the outset of the 2018-19 regular season.
