The biggest disappointment of the 2018-19 regular season so far for Texas basketball came in the 62-59 defeat at the hands of the Radford Highlanders on Nov. 30. Texas basketball couldn’t have rounded out the month of November much worse than it did against Radford.
As 14-point favorites before tip-off against Radford, Texas basketball couldn’t gain hold of the pace of the game at any point. Every time it seemed like Texas basketball was getting ahead of the Highlanders for good in the first half, the score would pull back even. Texas basketball really started to fall behind in the second half, as it trailed for a good portion of the final 20 minutes.
