A road test that can’t be overlooked by the Texas basketball program is looming large on Jan. 15. As this 11-4 (1-2 Big 12) Texas team led by head coach Shaka Smart gets their first chance of the season to get a two-game winning streak going in conference play, confidence should be high on the Forty Acres.
Texas is coming off a big win, their first of the Big 12 slate this year, against the Kansas State Wildcats at home at the Frank Erwin Center on Jan. 11 by the final score of 64-50. Coming into that home meeting with Kansas State last weekend, Texas was 0-2 in Big 12 play.
