New Texas basketball head coach Chris Beard has a loaded roster with this squad heading into next season. Texas is likely to be ranked inside the top 10 in the major preseason polls ahead of next season, which would be completely warranted given the strength of this roster. Beard hit the NCAA Transfer Portal about as hard as anyone this offseason to build up this roster and contend right away.
An area to watch for Beard and the Longhorns this coming season lies with the performance of some of the more reliable shooters.
