Immediately following the end of the 2018-19 college hoops season, the time arrives for national media outlets to build up the hype for the coming 2019-20 season. College basketball has a much shorter off-season than its profit-sport counterpart, football. The Texas basketball program could have a longer off-season than most, though, with how this past season wrapped up.
Very few college hoops programs in the nation had as many ups and downs as the Texas basketball program this past season. Head Texas basketball coach Shaka Smart will have a laundry list of questions to answer this summer to go along with rounding out this 2019 recruiting class in solid fashion.
