Texas baseball and head coach David Pierce enter the Coral Gables Regional (hosted by the No. 9 Miami Hurricanes) as a two-seed, with what looks to be a pretty favorable path forward to make it to supers. Despite not hosting a regional, Texas still landed in a regional it’s capable of making it out of.
And the Vegas betting odds definitely support this theory, and a little bit more.
In fact, I would go so far as to say that Vegas sportsbooks might be too high on the Longhorns this postseason. Texas is tied for the 13th-best odds of winning the College World Series (at +3500).
