Texas entered Tuesday night’s game against Incarnate Word looking to avenge a 2-3 loss to the Cardinals back on March 26.
Things haven’t been pretty for the Longhorns since that mid-week loss but they got the job done tonight and for a team that hasn’t had a whole lot of things go their way lately, tonight was a positive.
Things got off to a bit of a slow start, but luckily Texas starting pitcher Coy Cobb was locked in from the get go.
Lance Ford got the Longhorns on the board in the fourth inning with a two out single through the left side, plating Tate Shaw.
