In yet another win-or-go-home game for No. 2 ranked Texas baseball in the College World Series in Omaha this week, they’ll need to come up with some revenge against the No. 7 ranked Mississippi State Bulldogs. The goal for head coach David Pierce and Texas is to avoid letting a loss to Mississippi State be both the beginning and end of the 2021 season.
It all started a few months back for the Longhorns with a loss to Mississippi State, and their first game in Omaha last weekend resulted in a defeat at the hands of the same squad.
