Texas baseball lands two 2021 commitments

Recruiting for the Texas Longhorns baseball program continues to branch out into younger classes, as head coach David Pierce and his staff picked up commitments in the 2021 recruiting class on Monday and Tuesday.

On Monday, Pierce added a pledge from Dripping Springs pitcher Cameron O’Banan, who apparently had an impressive performance during a summer showcase:

Like many of the prospects recruited by Pierce since arriving in Austin, O’Banan is a quarterback at Dripping Springs currently competing for the starting job as a sophomore with three other players.

O’Banan is currently listed at 6’0, 180-pounder, but may be taller than that now and already has a fastball that reaches 87 miles per hour.
