Texas Longhorns baseball (25-14) took down UT Rio Grande Valley (18-19) 13-2 in a not exactly competitive, but still entertaining seven inning midweek game at the Disch on Tuesday night.

Here’s some highlights from the night:

1. Sophomore righty Tristan Stevens made his Texas debut tonight, starting for the ‘Horns after undergoing Tommy John surgery and missing most of his freshman year at JUCO. As expected, Stevens had a short outing, going only 23 pitches and two innings. Stevens hit two and even loaded the bases with no outs in the second, but ultimately was able to hold UT RGV scoreless.
