On Wednesday, the NCAA released its latest multi-year Division 1 Academic Progress Rate, also regarded simply as the APR, and the University of Texas exceeded the required NCAA standard, per a release from the school.
The latest APR release is based upon data submitted for the 2014-15, 2015-16, 2016-17, and 2017-18 academic years.
The APR, which accounts for eligibility, retention, and graduation, provides a real-time look at a team’s academic success by tracking the academic progress of each student-athlete during the school year.
Per the release, each of Texas’ 20 athletic programs recorded a score of at least 951 in the latest APR.
