PARIS — Current and former University of Texas student-athletes accounted for a total of 16 medals during the 2024 Paris Olympics, including six gold, seven silver and three bronze. If these athletes were competing as a separate country, Texas would have ranked in 16th place among all nations in the number of total medals won and tied for 14th in the number of gold medals earned. It was the Longhorns' fourth-most medals at an Olympic Games and the most since UT greats accounted for 21 medals in Athens in 2004.
