After a lost non-conference season in the second year of the Moody Center that didn’t feature a single notable opponent, the Texas Longhorns announced a home-and-home series with the UConn Huskies on Tuesday.
The series opens with a home date for the Longhorns against the Huskies in the Mood on Dec. 8, 2024 before traveling to Storrs on Dec. 12, 2025.
The marquee non-conference matchup for Texas comes against the back-to-back champions in the wake of last season’s 81-71 loss to UConn in the championship game of the Empire Classic last November in New York.
