Soon-to-be former Texas Longhorns quarterback Quinn Ewers was recently asked which franchise and coach he would like to play for as he prepares to begin his NFL career.
Ewers didn’t have to think long, according to Athlon Sports.
“Coach [Pete Carroll] would be awesome,” Ewers said, referring to the possibility of playing for the Las Vegas Raiders, which recently hired Caroll to lead the franchise. “He’s always talking about ‘compete, compete, compete.’ I think he says that word 100 times a day.”
Carroll’s winning history (namely, a Super Bowl win) and competitive mindset are Ewers’ main draws, of course.
