Texas is getting some help in the trenches.
The Longhorns notched a late commitment from 2019 junior college offensive lineman Willie Tyler on Monday afternoon.
He announced his decision via Twitter.
Tyler committed to Texas over offers from West Virginia, SMU and Louisiana Tech. Tyler made an official visit to Texas last month and sided with the Longhorns just a few days after receiving an offer.
Tyler will have three years of eligibility remaining. He is set to graduate in May and will be immediately eligible.
At 6-foot-7, 330 pounds, Tyler is not ranked at this time.
