Texas has landed another big-time out-of-state recruit.
This time around, the Longhorns notched a commitment from four-star Notre Dame Prep (AZ) wide receiver Jake Smith.
He announced his decision via Twitter.
Smith committed to Texas over finalist USC. He also held offers from Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon, Texas A&M and several other major programs.
A versatile prospect, Smith caught 33 passes for 1,055 yards, rushed for 1,135 yards and scored 26 total touchdowns as a junior.
