The No. 1 Texas Longhorns suffered another significant injury blow on Thursday when news broke that senior right-hander Jared Spencer, the team’s No. 1 starter, will undergo shoulder surgery next Monday and miss the remainder of the season, according to Kirk Bohls of the Houston Chronicle.
