AUSTIN, Texas—After Team Allen took the first two games of the 2016 Fall World Series, Team Miller bounced back to salvage the series with a 6-4 win.
Team Miller, led by Texas Baseball assistant coach Philip Miller, got on the board first off right-hander Tyler Schimpf when Tate Shaw drew a bases-loaded walk to force in the game's first run.
Up 1-0, the visitors struck again thanks to a timely Team Allen error. A dropped third strike resulted in a throwing error that scored catcher Austin McNicholas and Team Miller went up 2-0.
