Representing the United States, Taylor totaled 297.60 points through the five rounds for fifth place in the 12-woman final. She yielded a meet-best 67.5 points on her fifth and final dive, an inward two-and-a-half somersault.
Canada's Jennifer Abel (384.70) and Pamela Ware (326.00) won gold and silver respectively, while Mexico's Dolores Hernandez (323.10) won bronze.
Taylor will compete in Monday's synchronized three-meter final (5:30 p.m. CT) while UT rising junior Murphy Bromberg will take on the synchronized platform final (noon CT).
