On Wednesday afternoon, the Texas Longhorns locked up a future playmaking cornerback to their 2018 recruiting class as Houston Heights standout Jalen Green took advantage of the early signing period and inked with the Longhorns.
Green committed to the Longhorns back on July 21st, just three days after announcing his top five schools, choosing Texas over the likes of LSU, Oregon, Penn State, and Ohio State. His commitment stayed strong ever since, though schools like the Tigers tried to make a late push.
A consensus four-star prospect, Green is ranked as the No. 46 player nationally, the No.
