OMAHA, Neb. – Texas rising seniors Jack Conger and Will Glass and former Longhorn Jimmy Feigen advanced to the finals of their respective events Friday evening on night six of the 2016 U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials.
Conger and Glass qualified third and seventh respectively for Saturday's 100 butterfly final and will take on Olympic champion Michael Phelps in the finals. Conger tied for third alongside Tom Shields at 51.49 while Glass qualified seventh at 52.83.
"It's a good stepping stone," said Glass, who qualified for his first final at Trials. "I'm really happy about it, and same for the race this morning.
