AUSTIN, Texas — During TSteve Sarkisian’s Monday press conference, the Texas Longhorns head coach provided injury updates heading into Saturday’s Big 12 Championship game against the Oklahoma State Cowboys at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
Two players were listed as questionable by Sarkisian — senior cornerback Ryan Watts and sophomore nickel back Austin Jordan. Watts suffered a back injury on Friday against Texas Tech on the first play from scrimmage and did not return. Jordan is the third-string nickel back behind senior Jahdae Barron and sophomore Jaylon Guilbeau.
Junior wide receiver Xavier Worthy is “good to go” following a leg injury sustained against the Red Raiders that left him limping to the locker room before halftime.
