South Garland five-star recruit Tyrese Maxey announced on Twitter on Wednesday that he has committed to Kentucky, which is coming off a 26-11 season that ended in the Sweet 16.
Maxey, who averaged 22.5 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.1 assists as a junior, chose Kentucky over national runner-up Michigan, Michigan State, Texas and Oklahoma State.
