The eight Academic All-Big 12 selections are the most for Texas softball since managing nine in 2009
IRVING, Texas — The Big 12 Conference announced on Thursday the selections of eight Longhorns to the 2015 Academic All-Big 12 softball team.
Junior Stephanie Ceo (applied learning & development with a coaching concentration), sophomore Tiarra Davis biology with pre-health professions certificate), sophomore Kelli Hanzel (accounting), junior Holly Kern (corporate communication), junior Erin Shireman (aerospace engineering), junior Lindsey Stephens (sport management with a minor in business) and sophomore Stephanie Wong (human biology) received nods to the first team while senior Gabby Smith (corporate communication) was tabbed to the second team.
