AUSTIN, TX – The University of Texas women's soccer program will take the pitch to begin the 2023 regular season ranked No. 15 in the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 preseason rankings, the organization announced Tuesday afternoon.
Texas is coming off a 2022 campaign that saw the Longhorns win the program's second Big 12 Conference regular season championship and its first since 2001. The Longhorns will enter the 2023 season riding an 18-match unbeaten streak in conference play dating back to the 2020 season. With 13 regular season matches inside Mike A. Myers Stadium and Soccer Field this season, the women's soccer program will head into the new campaign on a nine-match unbeaten streak at home.
