With the 2018 season now long in the rearview and spring practice getting underway, the Texas Longhorns are tasked with replacing a small army of starters across a multitude of positions.
The majority of Texas’ vacancies can be found on defense, but there are a few new open roles on offense, and among those is at slot receiver where Lil’Jordan Humphrey starred en route to the third-most successful season of any receiver in school history before taking his talents to the NFL.
The bad news is replacing a talent such as Humphrey doesn’t happen easily, but on the other hand, the Longhorns aren’t lacking young talent with tremendous upside.
