Former Texas basketball standout shooting guard/wing and defending Sixth Man of the Year, Sir’Jabari Rice, has opened some eyes in his first two games in the 2K24 NBA Summer League with the San Antonio Spurs. Rice made a big impact on the Spurs in his first two games in the Las Vegas Summer League, making two-way contributions in a reserve role.
Rice came up big for the Spurs in their fourth win in Summer League, on July 16 against the Oklahoma City Thunder, by a score of 98-94. In the four-point win over the Thunder, Rice was the only bench player for the Spurs that scored in double figures, with 13 points on 5-of-12 shooting from the field, 1-of-6 from beyond the arc, and 2-of-2 from the free-throw line.
