Another injury hit the Texas Longhorns on Saturday, as freshman guard Donovan Williams left the game against the Texas Tech Red Raiders in the first half and did not return, so the Horns will almost certainly be without four players for Tuesday’s game against the Oklahoma Sooners.
On Monday, head coach Shaka Smart said that Williams is unlikely to play against the Sooners after aggravating a left knee injury against the Red Raiders. He met with a specialist on Monday after hyperextending it in a recent game and dealing with pain in that knee since before the season.
