Awards given annually to teams scoring in the top 10 percent in each sport with their Academic Progress Rate (APR)
INDIANAPOLIS — A total of seven athletic teams at The University of Texas have earned Public Recognition Awards for their latest multi-year NCAA Division I Academic Progress Rate (APR), the NCAA announced Wednesday. These teams include: baseball, men's basketball, men's tennis, women's basketball, women's cross country, women's swimming and diving and volleyball. Texas led all Big 12 Conference institutions in most teams recognized, as Iowa State and Kansas State both had four teams honored.
