AUGUSTA, Ga. — Former University of Texas star Scottie Scheffler used a final-round 1-under-par 71 to post a three-stroke victory at The Masters Tournament on Sunday afternoon at historic Augusta National Golf Club. With the victory, Scheffler becomes the third former Longhorn to win The Masters, joining two-time champion Ben Crenshaw (1984 and 1995) and Jordan Spieth (2015).
Scheffler is now the sixth former Longhorn to win a Major championship.
