AUSTIN, Texas – Head Coach Mario Sategna announced the hiring of Benjamin Dalton as an assistant coach for Texas Track & Field on Tuesday.
Dalton comes to Texas after serving three years as head coach at the University of New Orleans. He also was an assistant coach for the Privateers for two years before taking the lead at UNO.
"I'm very pleased to welcome Coach Dalton to our staff at the University of Texas," Sategna said. "He brings great experience and proven success in the sprints and hurdles events where he will help keep the Longhorns among the best in the Big 12 Conference and the NCAA.
