Sarkisian hopes Texas uses loss to Oklahoma as “fuel” going forward

“Losing sucks.”

Those were the words of Texas Longhorns head coach Steve Sarkisian on Monday following a heartbreaking 34-30 loss to the Oklahoma Sooners.

“I don’t know if you ever just wash it away,” Sarkisian said about the last-second loss. I’m hopeful we don’t walk out of that stadium Saturday and [come] back here in Austin and leave the game up there. I hope we carry this one with us for a little bit and I hope it fuels us to be even better than we can be moving forward.”

Recapping the loss to Oklahoma: The first thing Sark mentioned in regard to Saturday’s loss was the three turnovers lost by the offense.
